I thought readers of this article might enjoy my blog working class cats. Although in its infancy, II hope to make my blog the authority on cats in shops, delis, and bodegas. My goal is to chronicle the stories of cats in all five boroughs of NYC. Although if you cats in philly, san fran or even tokyo, I'd love to hear about them or see them.

We have two cats in our office for good 8 years now, and it had never been a problem to anybody. Regarding DOH office, that we have been renovating recently: they have cleaning crew only ONCE a months!!!

I can't get enough of miss julie. she is one good lookin kitty. reminds me when I used to sleep on my kitty's belly and drool would roll down my mouth onto kitty's belly. guess it's kitty's rythmic breathing that put me into a deep sleep and that soft soft belly fur. May she catch all the mice she wants in her new home.

I still would like to know who dropped a dime on the bodega so I could boot her in the ass. That's right, I said "her". You really think a guy would give two shits about something like this? Probably was some crotchety old noseybody, or alternatively, some annoying strolling-pushing, New Yorker-reading soccer mom.

The only place cats are allowed to run around is a pet store? Bullhockey. Our office had a cat some years ago and someone called the DOH about office smokers, and addressed the cat litterbox problem. The DOH dude said there are no laws against an animal in an office. So maybe a deli cannot have a cat, but they are allowed other places besides pet stores.
