EXHIBIT: Apparently there's an exhibit of Anna Nicole Smith photographs starting tonight. We can't find much info on it, but What's Up NYC says there's a "reception and exhibit of portraits and candid photographs of, wait for it, Anna Nicole Smith."
6 to 8pm // Gallery of Fine Arts [511 W 25th St] // Free
PARTY: It's Prom time at Unisex Salon. Tonight put on your best formalwear and head to the basement of the Delancey where John Cameron Mitchell will spin a special slow dance set for lovers. Be sure to request "In Your Eyes" and stick around for the live Battle of the Bands!
7:30pm // The Delancey [168 Delancey St] // $5
MUSIC: Local boy and Stroke Albert Hammond, Jr, will be bringing his curly locks and guitar licks to Hiro tonight. The drinks will likely be overpriced, and don't expect nice bartenders, but the show is free! Why? To celebrate the launch of going.com. To RSVP, click here.
8pm // Hiro Ballroom [363 W 16th St] // Free
THEATER: A multimedia performance piece called SPLIT tears into a weekend run at The Chocolate Factory tonight. SPLIT’s a collaboration between choreographer Lily Skove and filmmaker TJ Hellmuth that “plays with hidden and obstructed perspectives. As bodies collide inside an invisible shifting set, fragmenting the audience's view of the movement, images gradually emerge - evoking a fascination with the incomplete.” - John Del Signore
8pm // The Chocolate Factory [5-49 49th Ave, Long Island City] // Tickets cost $15
