Leadership is this guy's biggest attribute and the ability to see that if we dont fix our problems now we will surely all suffer in years to come. Aside from Homeland Security crap , if he can figure out NYC and run it efficiently without pissing off the population (11 million +) he is doing something right. I am not republican the word sticks in my throat, but I certainly would vote for a President Bloomberg.

you know, maybe the reason that bloomberg was sucking up to bush is so that he could get reconstruction money from the federal government and not get screwed over again. bloomberg is smart enough to know that bush is a very petty scumbag who would be willing to screw over the city just for petty political reasons. at the time, it didn't look like the democrats would win congress and therefore he had to convince rebublicans to give the city the funds it needed. you can tell how much he trusts the federal agencies as he has NYPD run its own counter-terrorism unit.

He endorsed George W at said convention: I want to thank President Bush for supporting New York City and changing the homeland security funding formula and for leading the global war on terrorism. (APPLAUSE) The president deserves our support. (APPLAUSE) We are here to support him. (APPLAUSE) And I am here to support him.
