THEATER: The new satirical play Back From The Front concerns the citizenry’s timeless ability to deceive themselves, as seen through the gloomy lens of Operation Iraqi Freedom. When a family is told on national TV that their son - who has been not been heard from since his helicopter was shot down in Iraq - will be home for Thanksgiving, they are overjoyed. But the appearance on their doorstep of a strange young man in uniform launches them into elaborate machinations of denial.
