I'm not alone! Yes! Donut Plant donuts DO suck! They're gut-bombs and always excessively sticky--like a grade-school lunchroom dinner roll dunked in a glaze that is never, ever going to dry. But damned if that place doesn't have a great publicist. It's written up all the time--presumably by people that never actually eat there.

Donut Pub = superior donuts...also, amazing chocolate chip cookies (when fresh, so only buy when there is a fresh tray out). Though, be careful of angry Russian man working there. He guards his recipe like samizdat
