Tim N. I've read your postings on Gothamist for some time, and you seem like a pretty level headed person, but you're only obvious flaw is your misguided devotion to a "team" that seems to think it can buy itself a world series every year. The Yankees are the reason MLB needs a salary cap.

This is Clemens' choice? The man either has a lot of misguided faith in that team or an unhealthy belief in his own ability to change the course of baseball events. If Clemens wanted to win another World Series, wouldn't the Red Sox have been the smarter choice?

Until I see Roger pitch I'm not too excited just yet. The guy is almost 45 and he will be pitching in the AL, just now much does he have left? I would be happy if he just goes 6-7 inches and gives up less than 4 runs a game.

That's what we the Houston Astro's and Fans get for supporting him and letting him "be closer to his family" the so called reason he could not play until later and go on road trips. He's a jerk always has been we just thought he changed. He is in it for the MONEY only. Thanks Roger for nothing you don't deserve our support.

Lol . Well they kissed his ass for a few months ! I guess it finally paid off for them . Thought I think this has something to do with Andy Pettite playing for the Yanks . Oh well, Not like it's going to make a hell of a difference . We all know the Yanks and Red Sox go through this "Merry-go-round" every year and one of them ends the season either in first, Or somewhere in the vicinity of it .

Anyone who thinks that the Astros or Red Sox were not "ready" for him, and did not want him until later, is on crack. Just BS from his agent to make him seem less greedy. That aside, good to see him back.
