Ha good luck suing the manufacturer when NTSB ruled the accident as pilot error. That's got to the be the dumbest thing I've ever read...

Also the NTSB always ruling for pilot error - that's an absolutely lie. If you go thru the reports, they always go in depth when mechanical or electrical problems are at fault.

"The tenants of the building have dropped their lawsuits against Lidle's and Stanger's families and will join in suing Cirrus."

That's about as stupid as suing Smith & Wesson for the recent college shootings.

The tenants should STICK to the original lawsuit against the dead baseball a-hole's family.

Yeah, the whole Thanksgiving balloon thing and then this, if I were that woman, I'd get the hell out of NYC entirely. 2 massively bizarre strikes against you says "don't wait around for number three"

Although, with her luck, she'll move to rural Pennsylvania and get run over by an Amish buggy.

It's unclear if Lidle's family can claim the MLB insurance (which says that they can get the accident insurance of $1 million if Lidle was not flying), I guess that'll be the next thing we hear about - how the insurance company may try to classify it.

And I am guessing all the lawsuits are being diverted from Lidle and Stanger families to the corporation, which makes some emotional sense. But no update on the lady whose apartment, probably bought with money from the settlement when the Cat in the Hat Thanksgiving balloon fell on her in 1997, was hit by the plane.
