<description>&lt;p&gt;I agree with 3. New York is middlebrow at best, and panders to the worst materialistic and voyeuristic aspects of our town. Always feel like I ate a whole bag of greasy potato chips after I read it, whereas I feel like I&apos;ve learned something interesting after reading a New Yorker piece. NY Mag does have good design though...&lt;/p&gt;</description>

<description>&lt;p&gt;Call me shallow, but I&apos;ve always preferred New York to the New Yorker. The latter always felt stuffier to me. Sort of like the difference between National Geographic and the old Scientific American, which could bore me to tears at times.&lt;/p&gt;</description>
