Roseanne Barr's View

The search is already on to replace Rosie O'Donnell on The View. Rumors are that Rosanne Barr may be first choice to fill the seat. Though Barr was on "Larry King Live" recently and said that she was "not looking for the job," on KVVU-TV in Las Vegas Monday, she seemed to have a change of heart. She told the station, "I'd love it. Yeah, definitely. I think I would do a real good job," adding that she would "stir up some real good controversy." And undoubtedly, some crotch-grabbing.

While she has not been approached by the show's producers yet, we bet they're looking for someone to stir up more controversy, and the other rumored contenders (Joan Rivers, Whoopi Goldberg, Kathy Griffin, Kathie Lee Gifford, Connie Chung and Bette Midler) won't do that.

If you have your doubts on Barr joining the show, check out her appearance late last year on Real Time with Bill Maher:

If only to irk Elisabeth Hasselbeck on a daily basis, she's got our vote.

At least Roosie was armed with information."

    Pure f**king comedy gold.

Yes, Adam. Roseanne lacks the credibility of Rosie O'Donnell, whose "the government was in on 9/11" theories were well-informed and not at all paranoid delusional.

"At least Roosie was armed with information."

Yeah, like that 9/11 conspiracy stuff. The shiny side of the tinfoil goes on the outside. It reflects the government's mind rays.

She sounds like an idiot when she talks about politics. At least Roosie was armed with information. Roseanne goes overboard. For example, I heard her on Stern trying say that there should be income caps. That would go over like a fart in a church. It takes away credibility

Whew. For a moment, I was worried The View might stop setting women back. Just in time, Roseanne drops-in to make the world safe for every anti-woman stereotype going. Thank you, Media Gods!

    Joan Rivers: Too brash

    Whoopi Goldberg: Too smart

    Kathy Griffin: Too annoying

Kathie Lee Gifford: Too timid/easily spooked

    Connie Chung: Too Newsy

    Bette Midler: Too showy

Roseanne Barr: Baby Bear's Porridge/Lesser of all the Evils.

ok, so i watched the video and i take part of what i said back. her politics are spot on, and she isnt fat. but her voice is still just as shrill and grating as ever. she's funny too, and she just might offset that neo stepford wife-esque hasselbeck tart.

is there some kind of quota for fat annoying pain in the ass beyotch that they have to fill or something?
