the yankees represent everything thats wrong in baseball. overspending - buying their way into the playoffs every year. they have no heart (except for jeter)! just lots of money. bring real revenue sharing and salary caps to baseball the way they have it in football and baseball will have integrity. the yankees have zero integrity and no class whatsoever and it's pathetic to see masses of clueless fans falling for this scam.

Every day the story on the TV and in the newspaper is how the Yankees haven't won a world series since 2000. Big freakin' deal! That doesn't make them special, that makes them just like the other 24 teams that haven't won since 2000! Oh, wait a minute...the Yankees aren't like other teams. *gasp* They are the most elite team in all of sports!

The Yankees NOT WINNING is not a news story, it's a joke and a pleasure to witness.

The "old Stienbrenner" went away with the stroke. Does anyone wonder if he's still really running the team day to day? Or as much as he used to anyway? I wonder who's really in charge these days.

Someone pointed this out on WFAN over the weekend: The Yankee's period of failure and frustration followed the departure of Don Zimmer.

unless they get clemens, it will be more losing, and this team will be altered dramatically.
