<description>&lt;p&gt;Let me guess, now that track work is suspended, trains will be late, trains will break down more, conditions will just get worse and worse, the MTA will &quot;need to raise fares&quot; to fix the problem.

You and I will pay more, trains will still be late, break down, and conditions will still remain poor.&lt;/p&gt;</description>

<description>&lt;p&gt;My sincerest condolences to the workers&apos; families, and I hope the MTA takes large measures to avoid such disasters in the future. 

But it seems like this was directly a result of the workers being lazy - they took a shortcut across active tracks (which must be against MTA policy) instead of going through the mezz level?&lt;/p&gt;</description>
