Too; "Anonymous" - I do, You know why ? Because I've witnessed someone I know get into a horrific accident [13] years ago . You want to know what happened ? He wasn't wearing his seat belt and the driver was trying to turn on to a busy intersection and was sideswiped by a tractor trailer that blew through a red light . The impact of the hit caused the driver (For whom was wearing his seat belt to be thrown into the passenger side seat right after the guy that was in that seat was ejected out of the side door window into the air and hurled across four lanes of traffic . In the process getting hit by about four or five passing cars before finally landing and having a city bus roll over his head ! That shit scarred me for life and is the reason I don't start up the ignition till I buckle up buddy !

I think he's being pretty good abot it, although I do agree if (actually when) this happens to anyone else, they get charged after their recovery, and thats just unfair, but part of the the privilege of being Governor. However, digression here, I cant help but think hat if this was Hillary Clinton, she wouldnt have made any admission of guilt or apology, she would instead say something like "If I had known then what I know now, I never would have gotten into that car without bucklnig my seatbelt!!!" which is why I despise her and will not vote for her. At least he has the guts and honesty to admit his grievous mistake, even though it is so obvious.

Why is everyone so cruel? If this was someone you knew personally, would you be all up in his grill for not wearing a seatbelt whenhe almost DIED? It's a miracle her survived and it was stupid to not have worn his belt, but I don't think he should have to profusely apologize. Can any one honestly say they wear their seat belt 100 percent of the time? Jeezus

criminal prosecution? hardly, his entourage was speeding, it's a ticket at best. Also, a good punishment was set by the state, he's being forced to pay his own medical bills. Meaning insurance doesn't cover it, they'll run into the hundreds of thousands range.

I disagree - Mr. Corzine has set a very good example: don't wear a seat belt when going 91 MPH (or anything over 20 MPH, for that matter) and chances are fair that you're gonna get broken. If he had advertised not wearing a seat belt and had never gotten in an accident, that would be setting a bad example.

No shit "You set a bad example for a lot of young people" If the Governor was really sorry he set such a bad example, He would face the same criminal prosecution a regular person would . We all know what's going to happen here, It's going to swept away and everything will be forgotten . "Great example your setting here" .
