- On the heels of Giuliani's same-sex-marriage equivocation, Gov. Spitzer calls for NY State to legalize the banns that dare not speak their name.
- Some state assemblymen are proposing that teams that play in NJ (e.g. Jets, Giants) not be allowed to use the appellation "New York" in their team names. We know it's been a while since either team won a Super Bowl, but seriously? That's pretty harsh.
- Nineteen people were injured––one critically––this morning when a bus was hit by a car. Actually, the article says that 14 people were on the bus, 19 people were taken to the hospital, and 14 people were injured: one critically.
