Finally ! One the "Gothamist" Posters is on the right track towards understanding the "Snitch rule" ! You got it the concept of explaining what Cam'ron did as appose to conscew the definition of the term in question "amahon" !

camron misses the point of the whole no-snitch concept. to fully grasp the idea, one needs a firm sense of ethics and the ability to decide when and when not to report something. in the case that reporting something will prevent harm, save lives etc it might be appropriate to 'snitch.' in the case that someone is pressured with the offer of a plea bargain, or that the case involves a victimless crime, it is probably not appropriate to snitch. essentially the idea of 'no-snitching' requires some sense of ethics. camrons example of a serial killer entirely blows the issue out of proportion and ruins its credibility.

All this is is some sort of ersatz omertà by a bunch of punks who think because they can yell to a beat which is usually stolen, I mean sampled, from something else think they are some sort of nouvelle non-Italian Maffia. Yeah Ronn (sic) Torossian is pretty gross. Went to college with that guy and he skeeved me out even then.
