Anyone else notice that the City Council memo has a pretty egregious typo? "While the Council has recognized the merits of allowing for a more relaxed dress policy on Friday's we must remember this is still a place of business." I guess it's asking too much to expect officials and their staffs to understand the subtle art of apostrophes...

If I type the name "Richard Jewell" and a the words "Olympic bomber" come to mind, that's a good indication that press irresponsibility goes back further than a decade.

The jump rope death was an accident? Maybe the press should have waited for that bit of information before throwing around allegations that the little girl was sexually assaulted. Remember when they did that during the aftermath of Katrina at the Superdome? The mainstream press has gotten so irresponsible in it's reporting over the last few years. No wonder we all turn to blogs t o find out what's really going on these days.
