A Cat's Eye On Brooklyn

On this dreary day, we draw your attention to this awesome photograph. What people will do to make their homes more comfortable for their pets! dchadwick took this photograph and wrote, "my neighbors removed their air conditioner and made a little cat observatory. (there's a plastic panel over the front)" We are all for pet owners making little perches for their animals so we can ooh and aah over them.

Also brilliant: This Daily Mail story from earlier this week about a cat who takes the bus "several mornings a week" in London. Really. A blue-and-green-eyed cat takes the Walsall to Wolverhampton bus to an row of a shops (including a fish and chip shop). A passenger said, "He sat at the front of the bus, waited patiently for the next stop and then got off. It was was quite strange at first but now it just seems normal. I suppose he is the perfect passenger really - he sits quietly, minds his own business and then gets off."

We're not sure how a NYC Transit bus driver would react to feline commuting, but there was that dog who took the 2 train (even transferring) a few years ago.
