Actually he did die AFTER jumping. The act of his body hitting the pavement killed him. The Jump itself was not enough to end his life. He was most likely still alive before hitting the ground AFTER jumping from the window.

When I was in Europe, the news would show the true carnage of what goes on every day in Iraq, on both sides. It was disturbing. Some was gut-wrenching. But I always thought that if Americans saw that on their filtered news, things would be different. The world is a dirty, scary, insane place sometimes - unless you live in the good ol' free USA.

You know, you could always post a link with the warning and NSFW label. Otherwise it seems that you guys are tough enough to handle but your readers aren't. The worst and most hateful example of the press deciding to withhold information from its readers/viewers has been the embargo of images of the 9/11 jumpers. "Oh no, the public can not see that. Americans are all crazy reactionaries and seeing those images will make them insanely angry against muslims. Thank goodness we, the guardians of the press, are so much more level headed."
