THEATER: The LAByrinth Theater Company is presenting Intringulis, a solo show by Carlo Alban. The story concerns Alban’s relocation from Ecuador to America at age seven and the subsequent economic, legal and social turbulence that his family endured. Alban plays a variety of crazy characters, including but not limited to: a sniper, television personality, window washer, Beelzebub, rock star wannabe, and Minuteman. Latin American protest songs from the 60s are peppered throughout the show, which is “in development” at The Public Theater (where LAByrinth’s Jack Goes Boating, starring Philip Seymour Hoffman, continues its sold-out run). - John Del Signore
