<p>Before anyone comments they might want to actually look at the statistics and data regarding the program. It is highly successful and is credited with saving many lives.

<p>Wow - Simon - that was very impressive.

I read about a certain flax oil - Lignan Gold - that is supposed to be the most amazing thing you can add to your diet (not necessarily for detox). Any thoughts? The only use I saw for it was about 10 slightly different recipes for salad dressing.

Also, ever heard of oil pulling?</p>

<p>"Detoxifying" unnamed "toxins" which supposedly build up over time by shitting out liquid gruel and shedding your sensitive intestinal lining is dangerous to your health and should not be practiced. Notice almost all of the detoxifying programs which are bullshit rely upon ingesting some substance that has a noticeable physiological reaction. Massive intake of niacin on an empty stomach causes painful flushing, giving the person a placebo confidence that he is being detoxified. Eating large quantities of olive oil and epsom salts is another common scam. It causes you to create and pass massive gallstones which proponents of systemic cleansing claim were there all along. Along with these claims, they state that doctors cannot detect them using X-rays or other methods, I guess so that you get paranoid and start freaking out about invisible shit in your body causing you health complaints. Idiots look at the stones coming out of their ass and think, "WOW SYSTEM CLEANSED!" The last common one is the high colonic and the "shit liquid gruel" diet plan. Jesus fucking christ, people are retarded. Shoving liquid waaaaaaaaay up your ass is going to disrupt the delicate ecosystem of bacteria you've got going on. It's like going to a factory with assembly line workers and taking people at the end of the line who are used to putting the finishing touches on products and throwing them up towards the beginning of the line where rough plastic comes out and shuffling everyone else around. Sure they'll sort themselves out in a few days, but it's a retarded thing to do. And then there's the method of ingesting horrible abdominal irritants, to trigger a massive allergic reaction in the colon. You end up shitting out these big loopy strings of mucous which was the lining of your gut. People point to it and say that it was the fat or corn flakes or whatever you had hanging out in your gut, but that's bullshit. It's like if you took some carbonic acid and gargled with it, and then peeled off the inside lining of your cheek. You end up getting fucked up, raw cheeks, because that mucoid lining is meant to be there. 70% of your immune system is concentrated on your digestive tract; fucking up the lining of your gut is a very, very bad idea, and could actually kill you. Then there's the diahrea diets like terry shiavo was on. Don't do that either.

You know what? Just don't fuck around with your bowels. The best "cleanser" you can do is to eat a bowl of damn oatmeal with flax seed ground in. This combination of soluable fiber and slick flax secretions will assist your bowel in cleansing itself naturally as it was meant to do. Flax seed plants fuck each other and create seeds which are meant to be swallowed. The seeds secrete a slick substance which assists it in travelling through a critter's bowels quickly and unharmed. This slick substance is good for the digestion which occurs in your bowels and can calm them down when they are irritated.

Now, if you're insane, you're crazy, you're absolutely dead set that there are wacky toxins hanging out in your body, there is one way that you can start to take care of it that is actually medically sound and supported by actual scientists doing actual peer-reviewed research, which is actually employed in hospitals and not derived from some wacky herbal internet site which claims to have also cured aids.

Do the following.

Buy some N-Acetyl-L-Cysteine, instant release. Take 1500 mg of it per day in three dosages with meals. Buy a bunch of ascorbic acid, instant release. Google "bowel tolerance" and "ascorbic acid." Follow the cathcart protocol for determining a good dosage, which should be around 9-15 grams per day, taken at 3 gram dosages spread throughout the day. Follow this plan for a few months.

NAC is the only cheap, ingestible substance that works to chelate heavy metals from the blood stream like mercury. It is also used to increase the output and flow of mucoid lined organs in your body. It's given for people with lung mucous mobility problems as a prescription drug. It is also a precursor to an essential metabolite in your liver that processes toxins; in europe, they mix it in with acetomenephenonenenonenen to prevent hepatoxicity.

Vitamin C is taken simultaneously to prevent the cysteine from turning into cystine kidney stones. Drink a lot of water.

And don't do the master cleanse or other idiot bullshit like that. You're just practicing a form of obsessive compulsive self mutilation.</p>

<p>Look at the results. What do people say who have done the program? Don't listen to critics but listen to the people who have done the program. What do they say? Is it worthwhile to spend hours in a hot sauna, to ingest vitimins, minerals and small quantities of oil, to exercise and sweat, sweat, sweat? Or not? Listen to the people who have done the program. </p>
