Spring Not Warming Up Anytime Soon

ushighs_wxch0406.jpgWe overheard someone this morning talking about going to last night's Yankee game "It was freezing, and then it started snowing…" Tonight's game will be just as cold, if not colder. If you are going to an afternoon game this weekend try to get a seat in the sun as the cold should be around for several more days. At least the Yankees can get their games in. Portland, Maine had a foot of snow yesterday and their minor league team was forced to postpone their opener until tomorrow.

Did you see the flurries yesterday? Or again this morning? That was pretty exciting! Admittedly, it doesn't take much to excite Gothamist. The Weather Service is saying there's a slight chance for more flurries on Sunday morning when the Easter snow hare makes its annual appearance.

Today and tomorrow will be the coldest days of this cold spell. Lows tonight and tomorrow may sink below freezing. There will be a slight warm-up starting on Sunday, but cool weather will prevail as long as the jet stream stays to our south, and it is expected to be way to our south for perhaps another week.

Does anyone else find this completely depressing?

No, What I find completely depressing is the fact the our days have been getting longer over the years due to the fact the Moon is slowly drifting away from the Earth .( Among other effects caused by this occurrence) I don't have to spell it out for you all just look at certain things going on around us . That Depresses the hell out of me ! The weather will turn for the better sooner or later .
