Ughh I dont know how those two managed to make it to market #1. 92.3 should just play Opie and Anthony & Ron and Fez all day, instead of polluting the air waves with mindless, uninteresting and extremely boring shows from the time of 9AM to 6PM

Calling someone an idiot is done in response to something they can control. It's not that hard not to be an idiot. It's pretty much impossible to actually un-gay yourself, and that's not for lack of trying by thousands of people tired of being called a faggot by people who insist that it's perfectly OK.

The laugh is Rudy Fenook. He's the Board Op. Yes, his laugh is ridiculous but it's hilarious too. Rudy is bi-sexual. I think that matters here. Free FM is great. I wish the people on here would find out more information on the shows they "hate" before destroying them. I, personally, find the show to be annoying sometimes.

People should be allowed to say what they want, but using that freedom of speech to insult people is really uncalled for.

I hope you've never stooped so low as to call the President an idiot then.

You know, it's kind of infuriating that a lot of people here are all "you guys take that word way too seriously, it's just a joke, lighten up" (not the exact words, but the sentiment's obvious). I don't think anyone should be subjected to such demeaning/insulting language.

I took a three-month training class at a community radio station out here in Arizona. And I learned that the 'f-word' (the one used by these two DJs) is one not allowed for use on live air. you use it, get ready to have your license yanked.

People should be allowed to say what they want, but using that freedom of speech to insult people is really uncalled for.

The Doghouse show rocks.

You guys just don't get JV and Elvis' humor-- they make fun of EVERYONE!!

Besides, they didn't mean the "f" word as a reference to the bassist's sexual orientation. They just meant that the guy was an idiot.

As soon as the fool exposed his orientation, they stopped using the term.

Lighten up and get a sense of humor already!

DOGHOUSE!! WHAAAAATTTT???

also i linked to the FCC's complaint page, i suggest you all go fill one out against these idiots.

It amazes me how many anti-establishment types can't wait to go yelping to the government whenever they hear something that offends their fragile little worlds.

Actually, no it doesn't. Government's awesome when it bans something you don't like, right?

#20 Yes Matt because what we need is the FCC to fine more stations.

When you go into a studio, you should know what to expect. It's pretty stupid to insult the show and the station and expect to get a decent interview. The interview was a lot more than being called "gay" in every way possible. They even mentioned how they kinda liked the song.

People take this shit way too seriously. If you don't like it, turn it off. What we really don't need is more FCC censorship.

Forgive my ignorance, but can you listen to ballgames on podcasts?

The day this becomes commonly available, you can shut the studio down. It's a shame, really... I'll miss it... but it will go the way of albums and network television.

The only things I listen to on the radio are Mets games and WNYC, but that isn't that often. (Being subjected to what other people are listening to on the radio doesn't count!) Most of my radio listening is podcasts, mainly from WNYC, NPR, and the BBC.
Who needs these idiots.
It is people like them in combination with big companies like Clear Channel and CBS who find it much easier and cheaper to centrally program stations out of one place using technology to faux-localize the content created in some godforsaken place like Texas - with no worry that anyone is going to be offended with the schmaltz they are playing. People don't listen to the radio for music anymore, they listen for these sort of morons.

Some of you are already hitting on this, but this is further proof that broadcast is dead. It's sad, but true... when you start seeing more and more of this crap designed strictly to get attention... and less and less indignation because no one is paying attention to the radio anymore.

and I find it morally, ethically, and socially unacceptable. What kind of country do we live in where people of this manner are paid to be heard? And the fact that people enjoy listening to this kind of talk is even worse.

One where the state isn't supposed to tell us what is and isn't ok to say.

Also one that doesn't slit your throat for being gay.

Righteous indignation noted, though. Please continue outlining how tolerant you are as long as everyone agrees with you.
