Female Principal Guilty of Having Sex With Student

A jury found Lina Sinha, a former Upper East Side Montessori principal, guilty of having sex with a 13-year-old student a decade ago. The student, now a 24-year-old police officer, told prosecutors about their relationship which lasted nine years after Sinha became jealous of his girlfriend and falsely accused him of threatening her and raping her.

However, a jury could not decide if she did have sex with another underage student. The student, who was allegedly seduced at 12, is now 19 and has been convicted on drug charges. The defense argued that he testified for the prosecution in exchange for help with a probation violation. A juror said, "Most of us had credibility issues."

Forty-year-old Sinha was convicted on charges of sodomy and bribing a witness (the other student), and her bail was raised from $50,000 to $3.5 million. Each charge has a maximum prison term of 7 years, and the NY Times says prosecutors want consecutive terms. Her lawyer says Sinha will appeal.

So she definitely had a relationship with the first student, but the defense is claiming that it didn't start until he was of age? Riiiiight.

I went to that school n graduated there in 2001, ...well she was a great teacher and its pretty haard to believe the allegations...but i do remember her calling me n some other girls 'fluzies' if we ever spoke to the guys and so forth....its hard to believe but it would explain a few things heheh its really hard to believe though!! My heart goes out to all the families involved in this it must be hard for all of them!1

What the hell. I have personal info on this case and ley me just say that all she ever did was acusse the girls of the class as being "floozies" which means a flirt and then this pops up. Evrything that goes around comes around.

Are you serious ???? This Kat got some butt and he's complaining ? Come to think of it , I've said this before, Where the hell were all of these freaky ass teachers when I was in school . All I got were [40] something year olds with bad posture, & an attitude !
