The car is from a pilot shoot for a new show on NBC. The show's called "Powerball Cops" and the premise is that two cops win the lottery, and then remain on the force, rather than moving to Barbados I suppose. The actors we're dressed as cops with slick snake skin shoes. From the gist of it, I'm sure it will be a total success or horrendous failure

It's a fake. I live next door and saw it on my way to the gym. When I came out an hour later they were peeling the decals off. Guess it was for TV or a movie.

Remember the New York International Auto Show is in town next week... I'd bet a year's worth of Gore's carbon credits that this faux police car is part of the show..

Just because a crime goes unreported doesn't mean it never happened ! Those stats have been doctored, If you live in the hood you already know it's bullshit ! Hell I have family in BedStuy and there always shooting over their . Day or night, At any time so please stop harping on what a select number of area's have going for them . My neighborhood is crime free because everybody that lives there goes too work and have families to support . Also the fact that it's a dead zone at night helps tremendously .

It appears that regardless of what the crime statistics may indicate, out of state vistors and foreigners still hold stereotypes about New York and New Yorkers from years of media hyped sensationalism.

Wait, I forget, they don't murder; they just protect you and me." -Yeah those cops suck let's switch around and have the criminals protect us from the cops. -Shooting of two auxiliary officers clearly was murder, shooting of sean bell was not- mistakes were made but it wasn't murder! -if we paid as much attention as we do to the sean bell shooting to every person killed in the city we would have even lower murder rates than the historic lows.

This is a fake. The precinct number gives it away - there is no 15th Precinct. Well there was on TV if you watched NYPD Blue, but they almost always use fake precincts on TV.
