This is just like the St. Guillen case, relatively attractive and thin white girl get killed, as tragic as it is, is played up in the media like crazy. While everyday at least one nameless person is murdered somewhere in NYC and gets the blotter treatment.

By the way, "very beautiful" is totally too generous.
