They can afford it and it has status therefore they buy it. And all their underlings have to love it or else. Today with advanced printers and 16 million colors to work with, perfectly straight color borders and unusual color combinations are no longer technically impressive. Paintings where you can imagine them to be anything is so overrated; you can get much more by watching the clouds in the sky.</p>
