Ed ex, FYI: I thought only douchebags regularly use the word "douchebaggery." Also if you read carefully, I am very subtly giving you credit for the "drag and drop"...but drawing the line at Zelda. No need to pull out the "I know Jake and Jen card..." Because I'm confident that I could've puked outside of a bar at the precise moment Jen's hairdresser was walking by. #4 La Leone: normally I ignore stupidy, but yours was too hilarious. Again, I welcome hate-mail here. First off I was joking... most of my posts, while serious, always have a bit of humor in them, just to lighten the mood—I have known Jen and Jake for about two or three years now and they know my humor. I guess all of my posts should now have the infamous "" sign or a " ;) " wink for people like you who taking blog comments and maybe life as well, too seriously... lighten up. In closing, you basically did the same thing I did to Jen, but yours was filled with douche baggery overtones, good one. ;)

Ed ex, Jen's comment wasn't THAT unclear, sheesh. I think it's fairly obvious that the difference being pointed out was that it was not just "a man" but it turns out it was someone the boy knew. I DO find grammatical mistakes by writers annoying, but the lengths that people go through to snidely correct Gothamist is beyond me. Ed ex, don't be TOO proud of yourself for the obscure "Legend of Zelda" reference. The "drag and drop" analogy should've sufficed.

I'm confused by this: *Early reports said that he told police that a man had forced him into the woods and assaulted him. Now it turns out that the person who handcuffed him was actually someone he had been chatting with on MySpace.* So what's being said, is that a guy couldn't have dragged him to the woods just because the boy was chatting on myspace. Not sure I follow. Or did the attacker use super human/internet powers to "drag and drop" him from the school bus stop into the woods and then with the help of "the Legend of Zelda", handcuff him to the tree?
