New York state has a policy for drugs, "X Strikes and Your Out" bullets should have similar Strike Out Policy. Recent x strikes and your out policy has been getting some motions for being outdated.

or maybe we should just start sentencing these crazies for life without parole for the slightest felony gun possesion. Owning a gun should not be a felony. If the auxiliary cops could have weapons, this all probably could have been avoided. But that would mean the city would have to allow people the means to defend themselves... which we just can't have. Obviously the system we have now, in which people who are trying to do the right thing are sitting ducks to criminals, is far superior.

Grammar Nazi here. The headline should have actually read: "Funeral for Second Auxiliary Cop Killed in Village." The current one makes it sound like one guy was getting two funerals. It's too bad real life can't be like TV. Remember the "Odd Couple" episode where Felix and Oscar joined the Police Auxiliary? Felix was a lot like Marshalik, a "by the book" perfectionist looking out for his fellow man. But all that happened to him was he got tied up in the hallway rather than getting shot.

didn't chris rock have an idea about bullets... something along the line of each bullet costing $1000. or maybe we should just start sentencing these crazies for life without parole for the slightest felony gun possesion.

Yes, because more gun control is obviously the answer. It's working so well. Pass some more drug legislation while you're at it.
