I wonder how that would turn out, closing all the bars in the city. It's a thought, but I have a feeling there would be rallies against that which would be even more distressing than the drunkards at the parade. I think people forget what St Patty's day is all about. There's a cool video on travelistic dot com everyone should check out. It's the new episode of The Map

You'll like the tradition more I promise.

If one of those male dogs mounted the other male dog, would he still be allowed to march?

If I was the mayor, I'd pull the permit for the parade. That and the fact the organizers are a bunch of uninclusive snakes with their own strange political agenda. Being of Irish ancestry myself, I have to wonder what the hell are these people thinking?

Perhaps those of Irish ancestry and a bit more rational and loving outlook on life can apply for a parade permit down 5th Avenue for the morning of next March 17th and have Christine Quinn as grand marshall and have the parade led by the FDNY.

Fun facts about St. Patrick:
Patrick along with Saint Brigid of Ireland are the patron saints of Ireland.

Patrick is celebrated in both the Roman Catholic and Anglican calendar of saints on March 17th.

Patrick was born in Britain to a family of Roman offiicals.
