"Fooliani" will not win the Presidency, People aren't that stupid ! Sure he just "happened to be the mayor when the Towers fell . Sure he was a hell of a prosecutor, He put some of N.Y's baddest crooks on ice ! That's a nice resume he has built for himself . Then you wake up and see the bad that occurred during his reign as mayor . Crime went up, Racial Profiling increased dramatically, (I guess the racists like that about this asshole)The overall life conditions deteriorated during his reign . He did nothing to spur the economy in New York . (I know because I'm a life long New Yorker) So why would anybody in their right mind vote this guy into office ? Let's not even go there with him marrying his cousin . (I don't care if it was a third,fourth, fifth, or sixth cousin ! That shit is disgusting)

Of COURSE he CANNOT win the presidency... The threat is that he is picked up as the VP nominee and turns a few blue states (including NY) red.

Ehhh... Dennis Miller is just digging himself in deeper. I appreciate the cynical commenters, though, and it is obvious that in the time from Gothamist's first post to now, many, many more commenters (myself included) have become disillusioned with the official explanation of what happened on September 11th. I'd like to see Rudy answer a few questions about WTC7.

rudy's not going to get elected, guys. c'mon. i do look forward to watching the political landscape flip when a democrat is in the white house and suddenly the taste of boot polish becomes big with partisans again. (well, some; republicans will suddenly go back to hating the imperial presidency, oddly enough)

If you loved George Bush, wait until Rudy gets a chance to start a war of his own. Until the WTC attack Rudy was on his last crooked leg. Anyone living in NY the last 25 plus years knows this and how horrible he made daily life. And his hatred of black people. He will never get elected, but could you imagine BUSH 2 - The Rudy Years?
