Yeah it's not a school yard -- i love how Gothamist Jen Carlson assumes it is one. ON what basis, Jen? I think it was shot on a soundstage in Charlotte, NC. That's about as much of a shot in the dark as "school yard." LOL

I agree, it looks a lot like Sara Roosevelt park. And that would make sense since its so close to where CBGBs used to be. It also kind of looks like some of the parks in Forest Hills that are shown in the Ramones documentary "End of the Century."
