Bloomberg should be in on the national debate. He's got nothing to prove and seems to enjoy addressing problems with solutions. Maybe the other candidates, whatever party they are in, could learn from that.

PS: Bloomberg appointed Marvin "Markus to the Rent Guidelines board, a man who holds the record of the highest rent hikes for stabilized apartments. Bloomberg's appointees on the MTA board voted for substantial subway fare hikes, at higher rates than in any other period in NYC history. And Bloomberg promised to insure children during his campaign.

#8, you can't read. Who knew? I said "property taxes," which in 2002, Bloomberg raised by 18.5%, the highest in NYC history. I hope you're enjoying the taste of your foot.

anti-Bloomberg, what a well thought out post you provided. I never knew Bloomberg controlled interest rates and the value of the dollar-euro trade (i.e. two enormous reasons property values have shot up in New York). And Bloomberg controls health insurance? Who knew!?!?!

He'd be in already if he were serious. All this hinting smells like he wants everyone to know he is available to play a role... He wouldn't look too bad as VP compared to Cheney. But Indie Rep or Indie Dem I know not.

Since 2001, Affordability: Much LESS affordable than usual Rents: Rose higher than usual, are highest in NYC history Property taxes: MUCH higher than usual Health: LESS people are insured Homeless: Rose higher than usual Crime: Starting to come back Ask yourself how things are in NYC again. Oh wait, Bloomberg is doing a great job. His commercials told me so.

I suppose when the front runners are a black man, a woman, and an adulterer Republican, nothing could really be too strange to discount a victorious independent in 2008.
