So that's how they spend their bonuses! The Post this morning gives details on the bust last week of a brothel on Greenwich St. that catered to Wall Streeters. Mary Jane Winkler was arrested for running an art gallery that police allege "doubled as a one-stop sex shop for lunch-hour lotharios" after undercover cops were offered sex for money.
The police conducted a sting operation after a complaint from another building resident. Winkler, an artist who paints impressionist nudes, was arrested along with two alleged call girls, Sylvia Builla and Celeste Carvalho. According to the Post, Carvalho said a massage with a happy ending cost about $200 an hour. A police source said for an extra $150 the prostitutes would "throw in straight or oral sex."
According to residents, the customers to the gallery, which is a row of small rooms, included a mix of Wall Streeters and Orthodox Jews in prayer shawls "decked out in their talis coming in for a quickie."

Uh... Orthodox Jews, or the Ultra-Orthodox, or Chasidim rarely wear their talis in public (and if they do it's only on the sabbath and their wearing it on their way to synagogue because you're forbidden to carry items on that day. And if you're getting hand-release on the way to shul then you're pretty much going to hell anyway). They may be wearing tzizit under their clothing (with the strings hanging out), or long black silk coats, but rarely ever their talis. However, the next time you see a Chasid in the Wall street area wearing a talis with a lulav in his pants - WATCH OUT!
