  • Knicks 106 Golden State 96: By now the Knicks should have figured this out. Go out and put some effort into the game and some good things might happen.

With Jamal Crawford out for the year and David Lee and Nate Robinson sidelined, the Knicks went some different lineups and some different players and it all worked out. Mardy Collins, Malik Rose and Steve Francis all made significant contributions while Quentin Richardson led the team in rebounds to go along with his 30 points. Stephon Marbury added 34 and Eddy Curry had 22 in the win.

  • Toronto 4 Devils 3 (Shootout): Cam Janssen’s late-hit on Tomas Karberle woke up the Maple Leafs and motivated them to comeback from a two-goal deficit in the third period to tie up the game and take the lead before the Devils came back and tied it.

It went to a shootout and Yanic Perreault sent it into extra rounds by beating Martin Brodeur and Jeff O’Neil won it in Round Five.
