March 3 - 5: Hop Heaven NYC
New York City's annual salute to the hop, features hop-heavy beers on tap at Hop Devil Grill. March 4: Food Bank's Time Out for Hunger

Over 90 Participating restaurants will donate 10% of the day's proceeds to help fight hunger in New York City through the Food Bank for New York.

March 4: “He Said Beer, She Said Wine” Dinner
Which will pair better with dinner at Tabla, wine or beer? Sam Calagione, founder of Dogfish Head Craft Brewery goes head to head with Marnie Old, renowned sommelier and wine educator at a four-course dinner featuring Chef Floyd Cardoz’s New Indian cuisine. Each course will be paired with a Dogfish Head beer and a wine, and guests will watch and paraticipate as Sam and Marnie duke it out. Proceeds from this dinner will benefit the Food Bank’s Time Out for Hunger initiative, as Tabla will join other NYC restaurants in donating 10% of the day’s proceeds to the Food Bank. 6 p.m., $90 plus tax, 20% gratuity and additional beverages not included. March 4 - 10: Japanese Restaurant Week
As part of the Japanese Food Culture Festival in New York, the city’s top Japanese and Japanese inspired restaurants will present specialty items or prix-fixe menus using Japanese ingredients. Participants include Nobu, En Brasserie, Megu, Sugiyama, Sumile Sushi and Izakaya Ten, among others. One of the most exciting specials can be found at Restaurant Nippon, (155 East 52nd St., 212-688-5941), where they're offering the exotic Tora-Fugu (Tiger Puffer Fish) sashimi for $80, a $10 discount.
