Video of the Day: Pillow Fighting Goodness

Because there's nothing like reliving the vicarious thrill of a pillow fight, especially on a Monday, we bring you this video from Kelly Loudenberg. Kelly braved the feathers to film this past Saturday's excellent urban pillow fight organized by Newmindspace.

And we have to say, the photographs from the event are amazing. We start sneezing immediately!

that looks way less fun than it sounds

Link to the photos goes to "Oscar Nominees" at YouTube, FYI.

I stopped by at the start of the Pillow Fight yesterday. I didn't participate, just looked. But everyone seemed to be having a heck of a good time. It was good to see so many people smiling and laughing in one place.

faulty link! it links to oscar nominees instead, of, say, a flickr

I just can't get enough pillow fight action, thanks Jen and Kelly :)

We are thinking Washington Square Park next year. Thoughts?

It was one hell of a good time!

Kevin, If you can: Madison Square Park after Shake Shack opens.

It would cause the conservancy to flip out, but soooo worth it....
;)

Where are we, San Francisco?

What happened to NYC?

I, for one, miss the days of The Warriors, graffiti and pissing in the streets.

ah, yes, hipster 20 somethings still acting like 14 year olds. Retro arcae games! Tag! Kickball!

Are we really not at the time yet when this seems lame?

Believe it or not, there was a time when young people came to New York to leave this shit behind.

If it's a choice between this shit and the luxury condo-ization of downtown, it's a tough choice.

It was harmless fun for all ages (Looked to me like a Lot of people in their 30's), but if you want to go all scrooge here, Hey, whatever floats your boat...

Did you people pick up all the feathers after you were finished? Or did you feel it was just okay to litter in our city.

Thanks.

The wonderful and fun Newmindspace folks and volunteers picked up and bagged all the debris from the event.

Endless smiles and belly laughs were the end result. Personally I was happy the police didn't exercise their new legal right to prevent 50 or more people from assembly.
