One observer (who didn't know about the fight) writes, "walking back towards Union Square Park, all I see is a large group of people in the park surrounded with pillow feathers. Many of the people were bashing each other savagely with their pillows, while many groups just sat and some guys were showing off with their shirts off, while others lounged in the fair (40-something degree) weather. It looked like alot of fun. This was way better than the hundreds of Santas I saw before Christmas a couple of months ago."

They did a terrible job cleaning up. I was at the park last night and there were piles of feathers everywhere, feathers all over all the plants, dog park, polyster pillow fill clinging to trees, and an abandoned broom. Great job guys, really nice.

White people are crazy.

finally, a picture of mine featured on gothamist. now I can die happy.

Great photos :)

For the record, we were advised to focus on the synthetic material as it is not biodegradable. We hauled away dozens of bags of polyfoam batting and polyester fill.

I was there as well - took loads of photos and video. Check it out if you like.

GYPsters with pillows.

WhatEVER shall they think up next?

Howabout smash the gypster in the face with a box of Cap'n Crunh while pretending to be a character in The Warriors?
