Thurber's also got two more screenplays in the hopper:

One is a new take on the gangster epic, about an old man who loses his eldest son in a gang war and must turn the reins over to his youngest son, the one who he always wanted to go straight. This youngest son then taps into his inner ruthlessness and seeks revenge for all of the families wrongs, climaxing in his ordering the killing of his own brother.

The other's a Civil War epic focusing on the beautiful, spoiled daughter of a plantation owner in the antebellum South who, having lived a pampered life, now must struggle to survive during wartime; this takes place against a backdrop of unrequited love when the man she has lusted for since childhood marries her best friend and she must then save the best friend's life...

Dude, you've been made. Throw the guy a big, hefty settlement and a co-credit and move on.

I love how Price explains how he and his brothers were skinny punks who could throw balls hard.
