  • Devils 2 Rangers 1: If this is truly the last time these teams meet in the Meadowlands, then both clubs have honored the last 25 years.

While the calendar says February, the intensity reflected April or May as both teams battled until the end. New Jersey took the lead off of a goal by Brian Raflaski, but Petr Prucha tied things up late in the second period and after a fight, the teams came out scrapping in the third period.

But, Zach Perise scored off of Karel Rachunek’s stick to give New Jersey the win and a commanding lead in the Atlantic Division.

  • Knicks 100 Orlando 94: If New York is going to make the playoffs, the Magic are the team they will probably have to beat out. The Knicks took a great first step Tuesday night, beating Orlando behind 20 points each from Jamal Crawford and Eddy Curry.

The win puts New York only three games out of a playoff spot.
