Video of the Day: Arcade Fire @ Judson Memorial Church
The week of Arcade Fire shows at Judson Memorial Church is over, and mostly everyone who didn't have a ticket and showed up at the venue that night, got in.
If you missed it, there's plenty of documentation on YouTube to entertain you until they come back in May. The above clip is of the band opening up the last night of the run in the audience (something they ended with on most other nights), performing "Wake Up" (more here). You can listen to the entire show at NPR.
The band will be the musical guest on SNL this weekend...with Dwight Schrute as the host (best episode ever?) Wonder if the band will do some busking while they're in town all week...

They are simply above average in comparison the crap that gets produced these days.

I don't get this band , I've been around the music scene for over 25 years and can't find one interesting thing about them , what am i missing ? they remind me of that terrible " belle & sebastian " a lot maybe thats why ..
Hey, I took that video! You can hear me say "Nice!" at the beginning of the video. The concert was awesome. Additional videos here in my post

The concert was awesome -- start to finish. We were one of the lucky bastards to get tickets for the concert so we waltzed in at exactly 8:30 and ended up right next to Win and Regine during "Wake Up." That's my friend saying "nice" in the beginning of the video.
