And on it goes. Reggie Jackson was regularly pilloried in the press as an overpaid underperforming primadonna. Then he became Mr. October and the posterboy for Yankee greatness throughout the ages in the space of a few months. All those millions should buy thicker skin. Randy Johnson couldn't handle the limelight and fled. Fine. He only diminishes himself further by continuing his beefing from afar.
