American Experience: New York Underground (Monday, 9:00 p.m. WNET 13) Channel Thirteen re-airs this 1997 documentary about the building of the New York City Subway.

Brooklyn Bridge (Monday, 10:00 p.m. WNET 13) Ken Burns, in one of his early films (1981), takes a look at the history of the Brooklyn Bridge.

American Idol (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 8:00 p.m. WNYW 5) The pain will be over soon, as the audience voting phase begins this week as the top 24 contestants perform.

Marines (Wednesday, 9:00 p.m. WNET 13) The history, esprit de corps, and unique culture of the U.S. Marine Corps. is looked into in this 90 minute documentrary.

The O.C. (Thursday 9:00 p.m. WNYW 5) After four seasons this show wraps up with a literally earth shattering final episode.

Ghosts of Abu Ghraib (Thursday, 9:30 HBO) Documentary filmmaker Rory Kennedy looks into the abuse of prisoners at the infamous Iraqi prison.

Consuelo Mack WealthTrack (Friday, 7:30 p.m. WLIW 21) Ben Stein is a guest expert this week on this weekly money and investing show. If you didn’t know he is a lawyer, economist, and former Nixon speechwriter, so he is more than the guy who said "Bueller...Bueller..."
