After the fun of seeing the 1993 Rudy Giuliani vulnerabilities study on The Smoking Gun, the Post asks if Giuliani's "woman problems" will hurt his chances. Not only was Giuliani married for 14 years to his second cousin, his marriage to Donna Hanover publicly crumbled during his second term as mayor. And he was seeing current wife Judi Nathan before he was formally divorced from Hanover!
Luckily for Giuliani, most pundits believe his marrying ways won't affect his chances. GOP consultant Dan Schnur who worked with Giuliani's main rival, Senator John McCain, back in 2000, said that people who are bothered by Giuliani's marital history "are people who weren't going to vote for him anyway." And Democratic strategist Hank Sheinkopf says, "Everything about Rudy Giuliani that needs to be known by the public has already been given to the public. There is no new information... Public performance far outweighs private problems." That's so true - it's more fun to complain about politicians' records - so we hope we never have to see pictures of Giuliani and Judi like this ever again.
Speaking of, yesterday Senator Hillary Clinton told New Hampshire primary voters she won't say sorry about supporting the Iraq War early on, "I have to say that if the most important thing to any of you is choosing someone who did not cast that vote or who has said his vote was a mistake, then there are others to choose from."

In New York, Massachusets & California it may not be that important - but in very conservative areas of the USA - it could successfully be made a moral issue by a tenacious opposing candidate, especially since young, impressionable kids were involved.
All he'll have to say is that he's found Jebus and he'll be proclaimed a Godly Man by James Dobson and the fundies will lap it up. Being a cocaine addict gone AWOL from the military didn't hurt W. in the slightest among the mouth-breathing Republican base.
And they'd vote for Satan Himself over Hilary.
Yup. As soon as we stop caring about the trivial stuff that politicians do, we'll have the time to focus on the real issues. Clinton's voting record is a real issue. Giuliani's divorces aren't, but the fact that he's a dick, only interested in his career, is.
