I didn't say that I don't care about it, I just meant that I don't want to witness it firsthand. I try not to eat processed foods, if that's what you're getting at. Or maybe I'm misunderstanding and you slaughter your own chickens. You're welcome to slaughter mine if you think that's more humane.

you wankers are the exact reason that huge food companies treat their animals like shit, feed them steroids and sell them in plastic wrapped packs as they sufficate in their own disgustingness. you don't care about where your food comes from or how its processed, and that's why there are such problems these days. thankfully more educated adults care about how animals are processed and are showing companies that we do care about what we put in our mouth and how these animals were treated. grow up or become a vegan.

I love the taste of lobster, but hate the mental image that I am actively dismantling something that a short time ago was alive and, to paraphrase, "flick[ing] its tail." I prefer the reality regarding the origins of my foodstuffs to be as far removed as possible when eating.
