yes, he is from minneapolis. for a while, he was painting these amazing fish in the same style. early on, he would wheat-paste drawings of these sort of eskimo-stick people. on the bus ride to work to do, i saw that he just hit up some stuff with straight-lettering which was also quite nice.also, i have to state the obvious, but does anyone that hates grafitti really think their one-dimensional arguments on here would actually change someone's mind?

I myself like the look. They remind me of Little Shop of Horror - with faces.

As for hating on street art and "reporting more on NYC," NYC is home to some of the best artists in the world, and a lot of them are into street art. And it's good shit. I'm no artist, nor do I know anything about graffiti, but I can appreciate a bad ass piece of art that I look forward to passing my daily commute.

Then let him paint it on your car. Or your bike. Or in your living room if you own one.

#29 pedestrain:

Schizophrenics and psychotics are two entirely different animals.

Schizophrenia is someone who has disorganiszed thoughts, delusions, social issues, hallucinations, trouble with cognition etc.

A psychotic is someone who has no conscience, and poor impulse control or manipulative behaviors.

Predators are typically referred to as psychotic. They use charm, manipulation, intimidation, and violence to control others and to satisfy their own selfish needs. Lacking in conscience and in feelings for others, they cold-bloodedly take what they want and do as they please, violating social norms and expectations without the slightest sense of guilt or regret.[1]

Yo people.

Ya'll need to ease the fuck up on this guy and Gothamist for reporting street art.

First of all, I ride over the Wburg bridge every day and this is the best piece I've seen in over a year. Someone is obviously going to tag there, so get over it.

Ya'll need to relax and quit taking your anger out on a comment blog.

what.

I agree with Dan: I think this is very awesome street art and would love it if it were on my building instead of the ugly tags we usually get... Alas, my landlord quickly gets rid of ugly and pretty street art alike (she had my super remove a fabulous Swoon cutout in record time).

i too find it annoying how much attention is given on this site to "street art".

it really detracts from this being an otherwise good blog about nyc.

make up your mind: is this a graffiti fanboy site, or a nyc blog?
