<description>&lt;p&gt;I wish the &quot;focus on nightlife&quot; campaign by council turns into something productive, like harm reduction, instead of something that is further destructive to freedom in New York.

When they padlock all the clubs, what kind of place will New York be to party in? When they further restrict cabaret licenses, where will we dance? In tiny Brooklyn bars, I guess, listening (but not dancing) to indie rock.

I get so upset when I read about anti-nightclub news from home :( 

This is exactly why I moved to Toronto. Nightlife here can be as big and loud as it wants to be. Hell, even Peter Gatien is here! &lt;/p&gt;</description>
