hello everyone im jazmine the mother of the little boy who ur talking about here and i wanna thank all u kind hearted people who expressed ur nice feeling about the situation from the bottom of my heart i thank u and may god bless u all and for those of u that had negative things to say about my angel eddy it hurt me alot u guys were not there and dont know what happened we were the victims im not and irresponsible mother and i was not vacationing in new york i hope you negative ppl never had to go trough this pain the man who killed my son ran the stop sign and as we were crossing he dragged my baby he was and iresponsible person who wasent looking and im sure god has something coming for him.... all u nice ppl please email me i would love to hear from u ok god bless u all jazmineheredia77@aol.com

8) What a ridiculously stupid analogy. Fact #1 - The truck had the light. Fact #2 - The driver was not drunk. Fact #3 - The toddler ran into the street. This is a tragedy, to be sure, but it is also horrible accident, plain and simple. I'd like to see how guilty all of you would be if you were driving and someone ran out in front of you.

Why anyone would visit Brooklyn on vacation is beyond me. And if you are walking around with kids in NYC, you need to hold on to them. That is parenting 101. The mother is far more guilty of murder than the driver.

I don't think you can pass judgement if you are driving and some 3 year old who is less than 2 feet high runs right in front of you and you don't see him. It's one thing to run a red light but another to casually drive and have this happen. It's more the parents fault for not keeping your fidgety children on a short leash.

"a truck making a left turn hit him". Guessing that the truck had a green light to turn and turned into an intersection with pedestrians crossing. Another case of the truck "having the light". As a pedestrian I've learned to wait for speeding cars making their turns before I get to obey the walk signal.

This is complete BullSh!t. This driver deserves 25 years to life if not the death penalty. I dont give a fuk what the circumstances were- he KILLED a 3 year old. Drunk drivers are the same as drivers driving to fast- they "accidently" hit people too. This guys deserved his life to be made into a living hell!!
