I am convinced that Marty Markowitz is emotionally disturbed over the Dodgers departure in 1957, something that the evil Ratner played into with his land grab for condos scheme.

I theorize that Markowitz feels that the only way to heal himself and Brooklyn is to have some major league sports team return - at any price.

The evil Ratner selected the very spot where a new stadium for the Dodgers was proposed for his residential development cloaked in a basketball arena. Coincidence or all part of a calculated plot by a greedy rat from Cuyahoga County?

To Marty Markowitz: The Dodgers left Brooklyn fifty years ago - get over it!

Leonard Riggio is not the "founder of Barnes and Noble" (Barnes and Noble were). He bought it in the '70s.

"Two Brooklyn posts in a row! Perhaps it's time to start "Brooklynist"

This site has always been very Brooklyn-centric. In fact, I think that "Brooklynist" might be slightly more appropriate title for this site as it is.
