Just after her son died, and just after her new baby girl was born, it has been announced that Anna Nicole Smith has now died at age 39. She had been at the Seminole Hard Rock Cafe Hotel and Casino, where she collapsed in a room. The police say there was no child in the room, but there was a personal nurse with her. Her bodyguard had performed CPR; apparently a paramedic said Smith was dead when he got to the room. Smith was pronounced dead at Memorial Regional Hospital in Hollywood, Florida; an autopsy will be performed tomorrow.
Sure, she led a bizarre life: From stripper to billionaire's wife (and Playboy playmate and Guess? Jeans model in between), she had a wild reality show and became a spokeswoman for Trim-Spa. She was on diet pills, and who knows what else, that could have attributed to her death...but Smith also had a brand new husband partner, her lawyer Howard K. Stern. Seems a bit odd that her and her son would both die within months of each other, and you know, there's a lot of money at stake. The early guesses are saying it was likely a heart problem.
Anna Nicole certainly had a life blanketed with trauma and lawsuits, especially recently. Larry King is on CNN discussing it with Wolf Blitzer right now, saying he'll be dedicating his hour to her tonight - where, as the story unfolds, there will likely be more information on how this happened. This whole week, Entertainment Tonight had segments planned about her - so now they have her "last interview before her death."

Update: Hugh Hefner said, ""I am very saddened to learn about Anna Nicole's passing. She was a dear friend who meant a great deal to the Playboy family and to me personally. My thoughts and prayers are with her friends and loved ones during this difficult time." People has a look back at her life. TMZ reports that the DNA issue over her baby daughter Danielynn's paternity will still be discussed tomorrow at a court hearing.

Anna Nicole is known for having an addiction to painkillers (as shown in her series on E!) and I would be very, very surprised if this wasn't a drug-related death. It's a shame because I was kinda hoping she would be a 1973-1977 Elvis-like figure (aka Big Mess) without the overdose.

Actually reading what other people have posted some are good and others are terrible. How can anyone make fun of a death? How would you like to be told that your mother is dead or some other sibling? It is now time to grieve and those closest to her have that right,not to be splattered all over internet sites and in articles and magazines. No one knows how she has really died yet, so why not stop with the illconceited judgments I mean come on they are dead now let them be,why keep insulting when someone is gone especially when they aren't here to defend themsevles against you? No. 1: just had a baby girl, so no suicide.
No. 2: just had a baby girl, so no overdose (she would've od'd a long time ago if her drug habits are so severe as alluded to in the press).
No. 3: Trim-Spa fucked her heart up (like the Fen-Phen did to people back in the day).
No. 4: was murdered.
I'm for No. 4.

I'm deeply saddned by Anna'a death. She was a great roll model and my hero and I'm deeply going to miss her.
This is really sad - I've read people's comments on how they wanted Anna Nicole dead and one comment on how all yankees should die... OK, let's all act like grown ups now...
The fact is that despite all appearances, none of us ever knew her and I'm sure that her show was mostly for laughs. She most likely had two personas - one for public and one for private - so let's all just stop ragging on her and show that we have respect for human life - no matter how unstable it was.
As for the cause of her death, I'm thinking it was either an accidental overdose - some unfortunate interaction between TrimSpa and whatever else she was taking - or she was murdered - either by her husband's family to make sure she doesn't get all his money or the man who claims to be the baby's father so that he can have full custody. Or maybe none of those things... maybe she just ate too much junk food and developed a heart condition. We won't know until the autopsy anyway.
But in any event, this is a very tragic event and my prayers are with little Danielynn so that she can be raised by people who will love and care for her.

Because some of us are not New York City's version of a hillbilly! There is a huge world outside of Manhattan; you should try getting 10 miles outside of the city sometimes. As much as you may think that NYC is the center of mankind, there are events that originate outside of NYC that affect us.
Well usually when someones passes you rememer them for how they lived, but in this case its better not to think about that right now. So... rest in peace, or in paradise whatever works.

I am sorry to hear about the death of Anna Nicole. My heart goes out to her baby girl Dannielyn. I only hope that the bay's true paternity is established. I pray that someone who loves this child and has her best interests at heart is the one to raise her. Because right now, Howard K. Stern is looking more & more like a suspect. Stern hovered for years, acting like a "protector" and "friend" and look what's happened: he's there for the death of Daniel(a potential inheritor) and now he's there for the death of Anna Nicole, who stood to win millions in her court case with her deceased millionaire husband. My first thought was "someone please get that baby to safety because she may very well be next"...

Actually reading what other people have posted some are good and others are terrible. How can anyone make fun of a death? (Who was doing this? I didn't read any comments that were) How would you like to be told that your mother is dead or some other sibling? (Honestly, what kind of a mother do you think she was? Nunya - I am glad that you are a proud mother of 3 and that all of your children are by the same man, your husband. That's good. But apparently Anna didn't have your inner strength and self-esteem. If she did, she would have lived a completely different life. Each of us is different. God gave each of us a unique DNA and a unique set of fingerprints. I didn't condone Anna's behavior either when she was alive, or now for that matter. However, as a single woman with no kids approaching 40, I can see that she definitely had some inner issues that were self-destructive. Yes, everyone is entitled to their own opinion. But name calling and hate, breeds more name calling and more hate. God doesn't hate Anna because of whatever poor decisions she made during her life. He just hates the sins themselves, not her. However, just like Anna, the rest of us will be judged individually by God for our own sins. Look no further in the deaths of For years he's been lurking in the background while feeding her drugs to keep her under his control. He knows the law so he can figure all the loopholes.
