Wow, I'm a freshman at Brooklyn Tech and I gotta say I'm pretty excited about this. BT is definitely one of the most diverse high schools you'll find, and I know I've learned something new from everyone I met there, even though it's only been about 5 months so far. Ahh, I can't wait to see the show..GO ENGINEERS =]

Actually, BT is pretty selective...if you can spell your name, youre in. The school is actually predominantly Brooklynites. Its also one of the most diverse schools in the city, i challenge anyone to find one more diverse.

#2 - Even though BT is the least "selective" of the specialized schools, it is still another world compare to an actual nabe school such as Prospect Height, which is where MTV should go if they want some NYC high school experience in the raw!

actually, a fair amount of BTHS students are from brooklyn, though there are students from all 5 boros. i'm an 04 graduate and its interesting to see tech get this kind of publicity when for the last few years, most news stories about tech have been pretty negative. the students are pretty normal, though. go engineers!

Except, how many of the kids at tech are actually from Brooklyn? I went to the Manhattan counterpart and less than half of my school lived in Manhattan, I'd wager.

I thought Brooklyn Tech is a highly selective school with competitive admissions. Its students scarcely are "regular teens."
