THEATER: Isabella Rossellini with be playing Lotte Lenya in a one-night only performance at the New-York Historical Society called Kurt and Lenya: Two Great Artists in Their Own Words. "From 1924 to 1950, letters flowed between the brilliant émigrés, Kurt Weill and Lotte Lenya." Scott Alan Evans directs a cast of singers in excerpts from their intimate writings, along with songs from Weill's Knickerbocker Holiday, Lady in the Dark, One Touch of Venus, Love Life, and Lost in the Stars. - John Del Signore

READING: Dave Eggers wife, and author herself - Vendela Vida, will be reading from her latest book "Let the Northern Lights Erase Your Name" tonight. With a combo of "high-camp comedy and lyrical seriousness", it's getting compared to films like "The Royal Tenenbaums" and "Little Miss Sunshine".
